Junior Compliance Officer

The role of Junior Compliance Officer reports directly to the Head of Compliance and is expected to work closely with the Trust team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Head of compliance in compliance activities carried out on the clients
  • Supporting the Head of compliance in the risk assessment of operations
  • Carrying out periodical compliance checks in all the different operative areas
  • Updating of internal databases
  • Supporting due diligence activities related to the automatic exchange of information
  • Reviewing and updating internal forms, procedures and codes of conduct

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor qualification required, Masters welcome but not mandatory
  • At least 1 year experience in compliance
  • General knowledge of Compliance specific tasks within a Trust’s structure
  • Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and define own work area priorities
  • Capable of identifying gaps and areas for improvement
  • Process-based approach to resolving problems
  • Comfortable working across departments to bring key outputs together
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in English and Italian

Nice to have

    • Participation to specialised course, CAS, Executive Masters in Compliance, tax law e Risk management.
    • TEP Qualification, or enrolment in the Diploma’s course program
    • General knowledge of the Swiss regulatory framework
    • German language knowledge welcome
