The association brings together the Swiss companies that professionally perform the business of trustees and aspire to spread the use of trust in the country, promoting the understanding of the institution as well as the professional and technical growth of the members, ensuring the implementation among the associated best practices on the subject.

SATC members must be full members of a recognized Swiss self-regulatory organization or supervised by FINMA financial market supervision.

In order to ensure a high level of quality, professionalism and integrity of the professional trustee activity in Switzerland, members are obliged to adhere to a code of conduct which identifies seven key values ​​for each of which indications are given on their application. In particular, operational procedures are established for the conduct of trustee activities that guarantee professionalism, competence, diligence, integrity, confidentiality, transparency and fairness.
